Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American television chef and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor she is a popular TV host. She hosts the Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef as well as the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Her signature spiky blonde hair and her pumped-up appearance, Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of dining out, and provides straightforward, simple techniques to master for home cooks on her Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell also worked at some of New York's top eateries, learned about the Italian food and culture, and competed on Food Network's Iron Chef America. While growing up in Upstate New York, Chef Burrell discovered a love for food and cooking at an early age. The Culinary Institute of America is where she enrolled to earn an English degree as well as a communications diploma from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was where I had the most enjoyable time of my life. I was unable to learn enough, didn't accomplish enough, and I couldn't put in the effort enough. Following graduation, Chef Burrell was in Italy for one year taking classes at classes at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. She also worked in La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin starred restaurant) located in Tuscany. In Italy the chef gained an appreciation and appreciation for Italian culinary traditions. It had a significant influence on her perception of food. Burrell served as a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to improve the lives of children who face challenges. Additionally, she is an Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity Ambassador who promotes awareness of the condition known as juvenile diabetes. Burrell speaks on her culinary passion, and also shares her experiences in the food world, as she regularly is in the United States for both her roles as speaker and mentor. Anne declared that she felt fortunate that I could communicate her love of cooking to others.
